The Grand Canyon National Park was listed as a World Natural Heritage site（世界自然遗产）in 1979. It is a steepsided canyon carved by the Colorado River in Arizona， in the United States. The Grand Canyon is 446 kilometers long， up to 29 kilometers wide and attains a depth of over 1.6 kilometers.

Yosemite National Park is an American national park located in the western Sierra Nevada of Central California. Designated as a World Heritage site in 1984， Yosemite is internationally recognized for its granite cliffs（花岗岩峭壁）， waterfalls， clear streams， giant sequoia groves（巨型红杉林）， lakes， mountains， meadows， glaciers（冰川）， and biological diversity. Almost 95% of the park is designated wilderness.
